Fitting the Faysport Bitless Bridle

Properly adjusting a bitless bridle is essential for your horse’s comfort and performance. Pay attention to the following points to ensure your bridle is optimally adjusted:

The headpiece

The headpiece should rest in the middle of the neck. The shape of the headpiece should follow the contours of the ears and not press against them.

The noseband

The correct adjustment of the noseband varies per horse. Make sure that the noseband is positioned so that it is clear of the cheekbone. Additionally, it is important that the noseband is placed high enough on the nasal bone to avoid excessive pressure on the sensitive part of the nose.

The bridle can be used in three different ways: side pull, chin-crossed and jaw-crossed. Watch the video here for more information on adjusting these three methods.
