The clever design of the bridle with clip fastenings has plenty of advantages. One of them is easily changing between bits. These cheek pieces you can attach to your bits. By keeping several sets at hand, you can be ready for any horse or situation. The cheek pieces are available in black and brown, provided in a set of two and fit the pony, cob, full and extra full size bridles.
Elastic bit straps
The bit is always placed on the bars, a toothless piece of the jawbone which is covered by a thin, sensitive layer of skin. The FaySport bridle comes with elastic bit straps which help to protect the bars by dividing pressure between the bars and noseband. Pressure of the reins is also applied more evenly because the impact is slowed down by the elastic in the straps. This can be especially useful for young horses or horses with a restless or sensitive mouth.
Throat latch
The FaySport bridle is designed without a throat latch. Because of the shape and the fastening of the bridle, the throat latch has become superfluous. Do you still want the bridle with a throat latch? Then you can easily attach this separate throat latch to the browband with the supplied D-rings. In addition, the throat latch is a required part of the equipment with cross country.
FayRein
Special reins have been designed for our bridles: the FayReins. The FayReins are made of vegetable tanned leather with soft fabric on the inside to prevent chafing at the neck.
Browbands
Our browbands feature the PresTeq mounting system. This attachment system makes changing the browband very easy. You no longer have to take the entire bridle apart, but can simply click the browband on, even when the bridle is worn. All browbands can be used on all Fay bridles.
